TUCSON, Ariz. -- The youngest victim of Saturday's mass shooting outside a grocery store in northwest Tucson was just 9 years old.
Christina Taylor Green had just been elected to her school's student government and had gone to the "Congress on Your Corner" event with a neighbor to meet Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and see the political process in action.
Christina was one of six people killed in the shooting. Fourteen others, including Giffords who remains in critical condition at University Medical Center in Tucson.
"She was born on 9/11, so she came in on a tragedy and now she's gone out on a tragedy," said Christina's father. "But the nine years in between were very special."
