Arizona bank robbers soughtPosted: Updated:
A bank robber hit the Bank of America on Grant Road near Craycroft Thursday afternoon.
He claimed to have a weapon, showed a note, took the money and ran off. He was seen running past Safeway and ross into the Alamo Wash east of the parking lot. Once there he ran southest toward Seneca Street. If you recognize this guy call 911 OR 88-CRIME.
And another bank robbery Thursday morning took place at the Chase Bank at Swan and Sunrise. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Nearby Catalina Foothills High School was put in lock down shortly after the robbery.
The robber was a white man in his mid-twenties with dirty blond hair.
He's about 5'7" and 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
And the search is on for a Phoenix area bank robber dubbed the "$60 Bandit."
He's suspected in at least four robberies, most recently last month in Gilbert.
In each case, the suspect reportedly demanded his cash in 20, 40 and 60 dollar bills.
A strange request considering those last two denominations don't exist. A thousand-dollar reward is being offered in the case.
