High of 60 on Saturday, upper 60s forecast for next week

PHOENIX -- It looks like a perfect weekend for skiing if you're itching to hit the slopes.

Both Snow Bowl and Sunrise have great bases with the chance for a bit more snow this weekend.

A weak storm system is making its way through Arizona. That's where that chance of snow comes from. We probably won't notice the system much here in the Phoenix Metro area. There's a minuscule chance for rain in the Valley, but it's really not at all likely.

We'll get the cloud cover like we've seen over the past couple of days.

It's going to be partly sunny with a high of 65 degrees today. Overnight looks to be partly cloudy with a low of 41.

It is going to be a bit cooler over the weekend. Plan on highs in the low 60s through the weekend.

For the big BCS National Championship game on Monday, we're looking at a high of just 60 before things warm back up a little to the mid to upper 60s as the week goes on.
