BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -- Layshia Clarendon scored a season-high 24 points, including four free throws over the final 1:25, and California held on to beat Arizona State 67-55 on Thursday night, ending the Sun Devils' seven-game winning streak.
DeNesha Stallworth added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Golden Bears (9-4, 1-1 Pac-10), who were coming off a 27-point loss to then-No. 9 Stanford.
Becca Tobin had a career-high 24 points but was the only player in double figures for Arizona State (10-3, 2-1).
All of the Sun Devils' losses this season have been on the road.
