SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a bank robbery suspect.

According to police, the suspect entered the Washington Federal Savings at Hayden Road and Via de Ventura at approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

He reportedly threatened a teller and demanded money. No weapon was seen.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 27 to 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 160 to 170 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hat, black shirt, blue jeans and dark glasses.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Scottsdale police.
