TEMPE, Ariz. -- "Shrek: The Musical" is on stage at Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, and tickets are still available.

Yetta Gibson talked to one of the actors. Denny Paschall plays Peter Pan and one of the guards. He's also the puppeteer who controls the head of Dragon.

"This is a different Dragon than we had on Broadway," Paschall said. "She's a lot more mobile. She does a lot more stuff. She can actually move her mouth and blink her eyes. She actually comes to life a bit better."

It takes four people to run the giant 32-foot puppet. In addition to Paschall at the head, there is somebody on the wings, somebody on the body, and a fourth person on the tail.
