Sunny skies, slightly warmer high days ahead

PHOENIX -- It was another cold morning in the Valley with temperatures in the 30s, but we're slowly warming back up.

We should top out at 65 by Thursday before dropping back down to the low 60s for the weekend and into next week. Overnight lows will hover in the low to mid 40s.

We're going to be seeing some high cirrus clouds Wednesday and Thursday, but for the most part, we're looking at mostly sunny skies (if chilly days) for the week ahead.

The forecast for Monday's BCS Championship game looks to be clear and chilly with a high of 63 degrees and a low of 43.
