Jury hung again revenge killing trialPosted: Updated:
Daniel Renteria, the father accused of killing two men after one allegedly molested his 3-year-old son, was in court, again.
For the third time, the jury in the case could not decide on a verdict. This mistrial will lead to a January 5 hearing. The hearing will modify conditions in the next trial, if prosecutors decide to proceed.
Renteria faces two counts of manslaughter in connection with the deaths of Richard Rue and James Marshinkee, who were shot and killed March 1.
