Black-footed penguin stops by 3TV

PHOENIX -- Nothing says cold and winter like a penguin.

Dr. Grey Stafford of the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium introduced Javier Soto to Jordan, a black-footed penguin.

While most of us think of penguins as cold-climate animals, most of them actually come from the equator or temperate areas. Black-footed penguins come from Africa. Only a few species are found in the Antarctic, which is at the South Pole.

Fun fact: Penguins have more feathers per square inch than any other bird on the planet.

Jordan has 11 buddies that call Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium home.
