SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Police need the public’s help identifying a bank robbery suspect.

A white male in his 30s robbed a Bank of American branch on north Hayden Road just before 1 p.m. Monday.

The suspect approached the counter and gave the female clerk a note demanding money. The teller then handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled.

Police say witnesses did not see a getaway car. The suspect is described as having a medium build. He was wearing sunglasses, a Nike baseball cap with the word “Witness” on it and a dark long-sleeved polo-style-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
