Cloudy days ahead, chance of rain lingers in forecastPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- There's a chance of rain in the Valley now through Thursday, but the best chance will come on Wednesday.
Plan on a high of 74 degrees today and 72 tomorrow. We'll cool down a little bit into the upper 60s as the storm that has been pounding California sweeps through Arizona.
Overnight lows will stay in the low to mid-50s, dropping to the mid 40s late in the week.
With that chance of rain in the Valley comes likely snow in the high country.
Everything should clear out in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. In Phoenix, we're looking at mostly sunny skies with highs of 69 and 71.
For tonight's total lunar eclipse, we'll have partly cloudy skies. Depending on the cloud cover, you should still be able see some of it. The best time to look will be when the moon is in its totality phase -- some time between 12:40 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.
