Tucson's south side treated to Las Posadas mealPosted: Updated:
Hundreds of people on the southside of town enjoyed a special holiday meal, thanks to Luz Social Services.
This year was the eleventh annual Las Posadas holiday celebration in the barrio. People love going to this event to start their holiday season.
"The sharing, I heard they have menudo. They got cookies," said Luis Sanchez. "They got all kinds of good things (so why not?). Yeah."
"It's a great way to integrate into the community and it's a party very special to me," said Maricarme Aguilar of Tucson.
Las Posadas is a Spanish and Mexican tradition that honors the birth of Jesus.
