Rain in Valley, snow in high country and it's not even winterPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- After about two weeks of above-average temperatures, including a couple of days of record-setting highs, December weather is returning to Arizona.
A storm front is moving through the state today, which means cloudy skies and rain in the Valley and snow in the high country. Areas above 6,500 feet will be under a Winter Weather Advisory later today as a cold front moves in.
We're only going to warm up to the low 60s in Phoenix today.
That storm system, which is coming in from the west, should clear out by tomorrow, leading into a nice cool weekend with scattered clouds and highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Things will likely warm up to the low 70s for the beginning of your work week.
