Family of woman killed by hit-and-run driver want suspect caughtPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX – Police are still looking for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run in Phoenix.
Tisine Nelson, 49, was struck by what is described only as a white Toyota just after 4 a.m. on Nov. 14 near 16th Street and Elwood.
She remained on life support until a few days ago when she was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries she sustained in the crash.
It is unclear what direction the woman was walking when she was struck. Police also have not determined how long she was lying on the road before she was taken to the hospital.
