Phoenix man faces murder charges after strip club fire in Wash.Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON (AP) - A man already in prison for an arson fire at a strip club in northwest Washington in 2007 has now been indicted on a first-degree murder charge.
Vasile Graure of Phoenix was indicted Wednesday. The charge comes several months after the death of Vladimir Djordjevic (JOHR'-jeh-vihch), a strip club manager who was doused with gasoline and burned during the fire.
Djordjevic had been in the hospital since November 2007 with critical burns to 90 percent of his body. He died in May.
Graure was convicted of assault and arson in 2008 and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. If convicted of the first-degree murder charge, Graure faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
