MESA, Ariz. -- The owner of a Mesa massage parlor was found dead Tuesday afternoon and police are searching for a man who fled the scene.

Mesa police Detective Michael Melendez said officers responded to a call about a family fight at Taiwan Massage near Loop 101 and Baseline Road at 4:20 p.m.

Melendez said the reporting party heard a woman crying and screaming and saw a male flee the scene.

Officers discovered the body of a woman inside the business. Melendez said the victim has been identified as the owner of the massage parlor, Xia Ohong Fu, 42.

Police have not released the cause of death, but they are investigating the case as a homicide.

The suspect is described as an Asian male in his late 20s, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 140 pounds and clean-shaven. He was wearing jeans, a baseball cap and blue earrings.

The suspect fled in a full-size white truck, possibly a Chevy, wtih a silver toolbox in the back.
