Mesa offering up surplus property for salePosted: Updated:
MESA, Ariz. (AP) -- If you missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there's also terrific Tuesday as Mesa sells off surplus property at bargain prices.
The city holds surplus sales every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at the city warehouse.
The surplus merchandise includes bikes, clothing and unused office furniture.
Some are items from various city departments and unclaimed
Payment can be made by cash, credit card or check/debit card with photo ID.
Proceeds from the surplus sales go to the City of Mesa General Fund.
The city says the sales during the 2009-2019 fiscal year brought in more than $107,000.
