Phoenix kids fly to North Pole to meet Santa ClausPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- More than 100 kids took the trip their young lives Friday morning. They flew to the North Pole to meet the man everybody wants to see this time of year -- Santa Claus.
As Javier Soto explains, United Airlines has been flying disadvantaged kids from Sky Harbor International Airport to the North Pole for more than 20 years.
The 45-minute flight -- the first time on a plane for many of the children -- wrapped up with snow, lots of fun, and, of course, a face-to-face meeting with Santa.
