PHOENIX -- Saving other species to save mankind. That's the message internationally renowned photographer and author Joel Sartore hopes to spread at Valley Forward's 41st annual luncheon today.
Sartore’s latest book, Rare: Portraits of America's Endangered Species, started as a personal project and grew into a three-year effort to document everything from grizzly bears to flies.
The National Geographic photographer and expert on endangered species stopped by 3TV to talk to Kaley O'Kelley about both the book and its message.
