Arizona job forecast looks promisingPosted: Updated:
The new year could mean thousands of new jobs in Arizona. That's according to economists at Wednesday's 47th Annual Economic forecast in downtown Phoenix. Experts predict 2011 will be the better for the state's economy, than the last three years.
"Last year at this time the Arizona economy was losing jobs," said Economist Lee McPheters. "This year, based on October data, Arizona ranks 12th among all states in the rate of job creation."
Experts predict the housing and construction industries will rebound in 2014 or 2015 and then the state will see dramatic changes.
