GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson has shouted curses in a postgame tirade after he was repeatedly asked about smiling during the closing minutes of a blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

TV cameras showed Anderson and guard Deuce Lutui smiling late in Arizona's 27-6 loss Monday night, the Cardinals' sixth defeat in a row.

When initially asked about the exchange, Anderson quietly said Lutui had said something to keep them positive.

Anderson started to lose his temper as he was repeatedly asked about the context of the conversation. He began yelling and shouting expletives as the back-and-forth with a reporter continued, then abruptly walked out, saying he was done with the interview.

Anderson was 16 of 25 for 196 yards.
