El Mirage police looking for female bank robber

EL MIRAGE, Ariz. - El Mirage police are looking for a female suspect who held up a bank inside a Wal-Mart store.

According to police, a female entered the Sun Bank inside the Wal-Mart at Thunderbird and Dysart roads at approximately 3:30 p.m. Friday and handed the teller a note demanding money and advising she had a weapon.

Witnesses told officers the suspect left the store through the south exit with an unknown amount of money.

People outside the bank saw the suspect getting into the rear passenger seat of an older green Honda Accord driving west on Thunderbird Road.

The suspect is described as a black female, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, around 140 pounds with a medium complexion and braided hair. She was seen wearing a gray baggy jacket with blue sleeves, blue jeans, black purse and oval dark sunglasses.
