Sarah Palin kicks off book tour in PhoenixPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is in town to kick off a national tour for her new book, "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag."
Javier Soto spent the morning at at Barnes & Noble at Desert Ridge Marketplace in North Phoenix, where people started lining up as early at 1 a.m. for the chance to meet Palin and possibly get an autograph.
There's some speculation that this tour could be a lead up to a run for the White House in 2012.
While fans of Sen. John McCain's former running mate started lining up as early as 1 a.m., Palin won't be at the Barnes & Noble until 6 p.m.
If you want to get an autographed copy of "America by Heart," you will have to present an original Barnes & Noble or BN.com receipt to get a wristband. A maximum of two copies per person will be signed at the event.
Desert Ridge Marketplace is located at 21001 N. Tatum Blvd. Suite 42, Phoenix.
