PHOENIX – Detectives are turning to the public for help solving a double homicide in the West Valley.

Officers received a shots fired call in the neighborhood of 87th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the body of a man in the front yard. A second victim was discovered inside the home. Both had been shot to death.

Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department said investigators have not yet identified the victims, but they do believe the men – a 22-year-old and a 48-year-old – might be related.

Neighbors told police they heard an argument shortly before the shots were fired.

Detectives believe a third person left the home right after shooting.

Anybody who might have information about this morning’s incident is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department.
