PHOENIX -- Phoenix police arrested two men they believe are responsible for a pair of residential robberies in southeast Phoenix.

Officers were looking for two men after a pair of very similar robberies occurred in the area of 32nd Street and Southern Avenue in the past week.

During both robberies, the elderly victims were bound and beaten.

The two suspects were stopped in the area of 28th Street and Roeser Road. They have been identified as Lester Alexander Dunnings, 23, and Kevin Michael Taubman, 50. Both were booked into Maricopa County jail.

The men were arrested after police put out sketches of two suspects. According to Sgt. Steve Martos, Dunnings shaved his head once he saw his composite sketch on the news.

Martos said Dunnings admitted to involvement in the crimes.
