Supervisor's wife pleads not guilty in child molestation casePosted: Updated:
PHOENIX (AP) - The jailed wife of Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock has entered a not guilty plea in a child molestation case.
Maricopa County Superior Court says 48-year-old Susan Brock entered her plea Monday morning.
An initial pretrial conference for Brock is scheduled for Dec. 27.
Brock was arrested after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with a teenage boy.
A probable cause statement says Chandler police were called by the 17-year-old teen's parents after they learned of steamy text messages reportedly exchanged between their son and Mrs. Brock.
Police interviewed the boy, who reported he had been meeting Susan Brock for sexual trysts since he was 14.
Fulton Brock issued a statement Oct. 27 saying he was "stunned" by the revelation.
