Home foreclosure auction in Tucson amid dropping prices and inactive listingsPosted: Updated:
Some homebuyers found some hot deals at the expense of other homebuyers Wednesday at the Marriott University Park.
Ninety-four foreclosed homes went up for auction Wednesday night, but as long as you had $2,500 on hand, you could get a home worth as much as $1.6 million. Bids were taken on hand, as well as by phone for the homes. All sales will close between 30 and 45 days.
And it's been a couple of years now since the stock market and housing market took a beating.
Things should be getting better, but according to a new report from the Tucson Association of Realtors home prices are continuing to drop and active listings are also decreasing.
