Supervisor announces end of marriage after wife arrested for sex crimesPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX (AP) -- A Maricopa County lawmaker whose wife was arrested for child molestation has announced he is getting a divorce.
Supervisor Fulton Brock says he has filed paperwork to end his marriage of 28 years to his wife Susan.
Brock's wife was arrested after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with a teenage boy.
A probable cause statement says Chandler police were called by the 17-year-old teen's parents after they learned of steamy text messages reportedly exchanged between their son and Mrs. Brock.
Police interviewed the boy, who reported he had been meeting Susan Brock for sexual trysts since he was 14.
Fulton Brock issued a statement Oct. 27 saying he was "stunned" by the revelation.
