PHOENIX - The trial continued on Monday for the man accused of starting a blaze that killed a Phoenix firefighter.
Chris Benitez, 27, is on trial for arson and murder related to a grocery store fire at 35th Avenue and McDowell Road nearly 10 years ago.
Prosecutors are moving quickly in the trial and could wrap up their side on Wednesday with possible closing arguments coming in a week.
Benitez is accused of setting the supermarket fire that claimed the life of Bret Tarver.
Today Benitez's nephew was on the stand being grilled over whether the two were together on the day of the fire.
Lots of Valley firefighters have been in the courtroom keeping a close eye on the case.
