PHOENIX -- Four people are in the hospital after a semi crashed head-on into a small car overnight.
It happened at about 3 a.m. near 43rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street in Phoenix.
According to police, the driver of the car might have been impaired. The car was speeding when it hit the curve. The driver apparently lost control and hit the big rig.
All four people in the sedan were taken to the hospital. Three of them reportedly suffered broken bones. The condition of the fourth person was not immediately available.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
