WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. Park Police have identified an Arizona man arrested after guns and ammunition were found inside his parked truck at the National Mall in Washington.

Sgt. David Schlosser says 66-year-old James Michael Patock of Marana, Ariz., is charged with carrying a pistol without a license and unregistered ammunition and firearms offenses. He is expected to be arraigned in D.C. Superior Court on Thursday.

A section of the National Mall and nearby roads were shut down for hours Wednesday after Schlosser says an officer noticed something suspicious inside the truck parked near the National Air and Space Museum. A bomb disposal unit was called in. No explosives were found, but Schlosser says a handgun and more than one rifle were found inside.
