Tony Estrada, SCC Sheriff, says the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Dept. deals with an ever-changing list of rules, regulations and Arizona Revised Statues.   He says the new Arizona law allowing anyone to carry a concealed weapon could create additional challenges for law enforcement , but it’s too soon to tell.  He says young people also must remember the legal age to drink in Arizona is 21.  He says many young people go to Mexico, where the legal age is 18.  He says those entering the U.S. with alcohol in their system can be charged with being a “minor in possession of alcohol” under A.R.S.
