4 Hospitalized after motorcycle wreck in Glendale

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Four people were injured when two motorcycles collided in Glendale Saturday night.

It happened at 8 p.m. at 59th and Peoria avenues.

A spokesman for the Phoenix Fire Department said it does not look like any of the victims were wearing helmets.

It‘s not yet known what caused the wreck.

All four people were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Even though they apparently were not wearing helmets, none of their injuries were believed to be life threatening.

None of the victims' names have been released.

Southbound 59th Avenue was closed at Peoria Avenue for a time while police conducted their investigation.
