Woman stabbed at Scottsdale home

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police are investigating after a 48-year-old woman was stabbed at a Scottsdale home Friday morning.

Police officers responded to a reported stabbing at a home near Cactus and Scottsdale roads at approximately 9 a.m.

According to Scottsdale police, two Hispanic men in their 20s entered a couple's home, displayed a gun and demanded money. Police said the couple knew the men.

The victims resisted and one of the suspects stabbed the female homeowner.

The suspects fled the scene and the victims fled the home. The woman ran to a neighbor's house to call 911.

The woman was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center and was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The 61-year-old husband was unharmed.

The victims told police that they had done business with the suspects in the past.

One of the suspects has been identified as Christian Bolanos-Garcia, 28. Bolanos-Garcia has been identified as a homicide victim by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

The other suspect has been identified as Alejandro Rafael Meza, 22, from Rio Rico.

Both of the suspects are deceased, but MCSO continues to investigate their deaths as a possible murder/suicide.
