Bank robbery and arrest in north-central TucsonPosted: Updated:
Police arrested 21-year-old Brian Sallee inside the Pima Federal Credit Union on Stone Avenue near Prince Road.
Officers arrived at the credit union just one minute after receiving a call about a robbery in progress. They set up outside, then went in to get the robber.
"At that point, the officer called the other officers who were outside still, had them come inside the and tehy were able to take him into custody right in front of the teller station without further incident," said Sgt. Matt Ronstadt of the Tucson Police Department.
Investigators say Sallee did not use a weapon. No one was hurt.
