Trick or Tracker app helps parent keep track of trick-or-treaters

PHOENIX --Halloween is meant to be a fun and scary holiday, but, as parents would undoubtedly agree, not a dangerous one.

Lots of older kids want to go trick-or-treating on their own, without a parent hovering protectively nearby.

A new smartphone app from a California company called Iconsys allows parents to know exactly where their trick-or-treaters are with just a touch of a button. It's called Trick or Tracker.

It installs on both the parent's phone and the child's phone and it's quite easy to use.

Kaley O'Kelley explains how it works and where you can get it for free for Halloween. There's a paid version that works any time. Trick or Tracker comes in English and Spanish.
