Melody Skiver, UA Cooperative Extension, SCC, says healthier people are better able to contribute to a robust economy, a fact not unnoticed at The U of A Arizona Cooperative Extension office in SCC. She says focusing on the food choices of elementary age children offers the best opportunity to instill in kids the value of a healthy, nutritional diet.  She says the kids who she speaks to then go home and ask parents to get them healthy food.
