Hearing for Rio Nuevo hotel; Nogales corruption charges update

Looks like there's some light at the end of the tunnel with the convention center hotel debacle. The Tucson City council is set to hold a public hearing Tuesday night.

Supporters and opponents of the controversial multi-million dollar project are expected to show up to voice their opinions.

Mayor and council could finally vote up or down on the project after the hearing.

The Mayor of Nogales, who's accused of fraud and taking bribes, is fighting to silence the state Attorney General.

Attorneys for Mayor Octavio Garcia-Von Borstel today asked a judge to order the attorney general's office to stop releasing details of the case to the media. Media received and published FBI audio recordings made during the investigation.

Mayor garcia faces nine felony counts. His father was also arrested, for alleged fraud and money laundering.
