Two violent attacks over the weekend in TucsonPosted: Updated:
There's been another homicide in Tucson. One man dead after a late night shooting on the west side Saturday.
Neighbors told police they heard gunshots around 10:30. When police got to the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. This was on the 2200 block of South San Antonio Drive, near Mission and Silverlake Roads.
The man died at the scene. Police haven't released his name yet. They're in the process of notifying next of kin.
There was also a stabbing Sunday in Tucson. Police also responded to this incident.
It happened near Craycroft and Juarez. Detectives say the victim suffered serious injuries.
The suspect is on the loose, but police do have a description of that person.
They believe he's in his 20's, about 5'6" tall, with a thin build. They say he may possibly be driving a white Pontiac Grand Am.
