Tempe police arrest two in connection to transient murder

TEMPE, Ariz. - Tempe police have made an arrest in the murder of a transient on September 28.

Ronald Therman-Lamar Alewine, 23, and Javon Desmond Wilson, 14, have been arrested in connection of Casey Blackwood's murder.

Investigators discovered that Wilson provided the knife used by Alewine to stab Blackwood to death.

Wilson also stood by and then helped clean up the scene after the murder.

Tempe police believe the murder stemmed from an altercation that Wilson and Alewin has been involved in previously with Blackwood.

All three men were transients.

Alewine and Wilson are facing first degree murder charges. Wilson is facing the charges as an adult.
