Tolleson police asking for public's help in identifying body found in canal

TOLLESON, Ariz. - The Tolleson Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man found dead in a canal.

On September 26, police found a body floating in a canal south of McDowell Road and east of 91st Avenue.

The body was severely decomposed when it was found.

The unidentified man was wearing blue denim jeans and white tennis shoes.

An autopsy revealed the body was a white male, 50-60 years of age, 97 pounds and 5'6 to 5'9.
