Early morning rain storms give way to more chance of showersPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- It's another soggy morning in the Valley of the Sun. This the second morning in a row that we've seen rain. It was coming down in much of the central part of Arizona from Flagstaff all the way down to Tucson in the early hours.
There was even snow on top of the San Francisco Peaks, but not down in Flagstaff as the snow level remained quite high.
After 6 a.m., things were starting to clear in the West Valley, but rain was still coming down in the eastern areas.
Plan on a high of 71 degrees with scattered showered at least through the morning hours. Those showers should start clearing out by the afternoon. It will be partly cloudy tonight with an overnight low of 59 degrees.
Tomorrow will be a bit cloudy and somewhat warmer with a forecast high of 78.
The weekend looks just gorgeous with mostly sunny skies and highs of 80 degrees on Saturday and 85 on Sunday.
