GILBERT, Ariz. -- One of the men involved in the shooting death of a Gilbert police officer has been sentenced to more than 100 years in prison.
Daimen Irizarry was driving the getaway truck after Christopher Redondo allegedly shot Lt. Eric Shuhandler in January.
They led police on a high-speed chase along U.S. 60.
In July, Irizarry was found guilty of 13 counts, including drive-by shooting, aggravated assault and unlawful flight from law enforcement.
On Thursday, Judge Christopher Whitten sentenced Irizarry to 107.5 years in prison.
