GLENDALE, Ariz. – A teenager remains in the hospital after being struck by a car Wednesday night in Glendale.
Police say the 14-year-old boy was hit by an SUV while jaywalking across Bell Road near 66th Avenue with three friends.
The teen suffered upper-body injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital from the scene.
The driver of the SUV reportedly told police officers she did not see the boy.
