Reward offered for man that robbed store wearing plastic bag

PHOENIX – A reward is being offered after a man attempting to disguise himself with a plastic bag robbed a Phoenix convenience store.

Police said the man entered a Circle K near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road on Sunday just before 7 a.m. He was wearing a plastic bag covering his face and part of his head.

The suspect allegedly told the clerk he had a gun in his pocket and demanded all the cash in the register before fleeing the scene.

Police said a witness saw the suspect get into a light-colored vehicle that was last seen traveling northbound on 74th Avenue.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 25 years old. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a black shirt.

Silent Witness is offering $1,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 480-948-6377.
