Christmas Angel registration opens

PHOENIX - The Salvation Army kicks off Christmas Angel registration. People living in the Phoenix metropolitan area are encouraged to register at their local Salvation Army.

A person's zip code will determine which Salvation Army corp they need to visit to register for the program. Registration at the various Phoenix corps will be taking place the week of October 11 - 15th.

To be eligible for the program children must be 12 years or under and families must have income below 125% of the federal poverty income guidelines. When coming to registration people must bring the following; proof of address, photo ID, proof of income and original birth certificates for all children or legal custody/guardianship papers. Space for the program is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
