Sketch helps Mesa police identify injured bicyclist

MESA, Ariz. – A bicyclist who was hit by two vehicles Saturday night has been identified by the Mesa Police Department.

Police released a sketch of the man they say was hit by the vehicles on Saturday at approximately 6:45 p.m. near U.S. 60 and Higley Road. He has now been identified as 20-year-old Bryan Kenealy.

The victim has not regained consciousness and wasn't carrying any ID. A family member reportedly saw media converage and confirmed it was their family member after contacting the hospital.

Mesa police Detective Steve Berry said the victim was riding a yellow BMX-style bicycle when he was hit by the vehicles. The drivers remained at the scene.
