Pac-10 on verge of important decisionsPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX (AP) -- Pac-10 commissioner Larry Scott doesn't feel comfortable calling this week's athletic directors meetings the biggest in conference history.
He hasn't been around long enough to put it into historical perspective.
Scott does, though, understand the potential impact the meetings Wednesday and Thursday in San Francisco could have as the conference transitions into the Pac-12.
No recommendations are expected to be made, but the meetings should go a long way into shaping the future of the conference.
The focus will be on three key issues: revenue sharing, format for a football championship game and dividing the 12 teams into divisions.
