PHOENIX (AP) -- Early voting begins Thursday for Arizonans who want to cast a ballot in the Nov. 2 general election.

Voters can cast early ballots at a limited number of county recorder locations from Thursday through Oct. 29.

They also can get an early ballot mailed to them.

To be counted, those ballots have to be received by elections officials or dropped off at polling places by 7 p.m. on Nov. 2.

The deadline for requesting an early ballot is Oct. 22.

The ballot will include races for the governor's post, a U.S. Senate seat, state legislative posts, ballot measures and other political posts.
