Police identify bodies found in Scottsdale condo during welfare check

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Scottsdale Police Department has identified a man and woman found dead inside a condo during a welfare check.

Scottsdale police were called to a condo near Shea Boulevard and 92nd Street just before 10 p.m. on Oct. 3. Officer David Pubins said they received a request to check on one of the residents who had not been heard from in some time.

Officers discovered the bodies of Marlene King, 58, and her boyfriend, Wilfred Kesner, 52, inside King's condo.

The cause and manner of death have not been determined. Police are waiting on autopsy results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police said there are no outstanding suspects.
